22 Miami-Dade Public LIbraries expected to be shut down in October 2013

Remember growing up in MIami? Brutal with no money. Beautiful place that attracts the super rich with an underclass of poor that doesn't show in the media. After growing to 49 libraries - covering all areas of Miami-Dade's 2,000 square miles - we're facing closures. Would you narrate a video that will be produced by the Friends of the MDPLS? The 22 libraries (the county's first plan closed 42) are: California Club, Opa-locka, Golden Glades, Civic Center Kiosk, Lemon City, Little River, Model City, Culmer, North Shore, Shenandoah, South Shore, Fairlawn, Virrick Park, Country Walk, Concord, Sunset, Lakes of the Meadows, Tamiami, West Kendall Regional, Doral, Hialeah Gardens and Palm Springs North. This will just suck the life out of people who are barely making it...The Board of County Commissioners can reconsider fully funding the libraries - but we have to convince them that the people in Miami-Dade are worth this investment.
